Job Title: Product Owner SME – Custody & Investment Services Experience: 10+ Years Employment Type: Full-Time Work Model: Hybrid Locations: New York, NY New Jersey Dallas, TX Canada Mexico Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Product Owner Subject Matter Expert (SME) with extensive knowledge of Custody and Investment Services to lead strategic product initiatives within our Capital Markets organization. The ideal candidate will bridge business and technology teams, driving the delivery of innovative custody products and investment servicing capabilities while ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and client expectations. The successful candidate will possess strong expertise in securities custody, asset servicing, investment operations, and Agile product ownership. Key Responsibilities Own and manage the product roadmap for Custody and Investment Services platforms. Partner with business stakeholders, operations, technology teams, and executive leadership to define product vision and strategy. Gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements for custody, settlements, asset servicing, and investment operations. Translate business needs into detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria. Manage and prioritize the product backlog to maximize business value. Act as the primary liaison between business users and development teams throughout the product lifecycle. Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Collaborate with Solution Architects and Engineering teams to design scalable solutions. Ensure successful delivery of new product features and enhancements while meeting timelines and quality standards. Drive continuous product improvements through customer feedback, analytics, and market trends. Support UAT planning, defect triage, release management, and production deployment. Define KPIs and product success metrics while monitoring product performance. Ensure compliance with regulatory and operational standards governing securities custody and investment services. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline. 10+ years of Product Ownership, Product Management, or Business Analysis experience. Strong experience within Custody Banking or Investment Services. Proven experience serving as Product Owner in Agile/Scrum environments. Deep understanding of investment lifecycle and post-trade operations. Experience managing complex enterprise digital transformation initiatives. Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills. Experience writing Epics, Features, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria. Experience using Agile tools such as: Jira Azure DevOps Confluence Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience working with globally distributed teams. Technical Skills Agile / Scrum Jira Azure DevOps Confluence SQL (preferred) API integrations REST services Data Mapping Process Modeling Visio Lucidchart Microsoft Office Suite.

The Product Owner will own and manage the product roadmap for Custody and Investment Services platforms, partnering with various stakeholders to define product vision and strategy. They will also lead Agile ceremonies and ensure successful delivery of new product features while driving continuous product improvements.

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and over 10 years of experience in Product Ownership or related roles, with strong expertise in Custody Banking or Investment Services. Proven experience in Agile environments and strong analytical skills are also required.
