Résumé du poste
About 3E8 3E8 is building the future of hardware sourcing and design. Our product, blueprint.am [http://blueprint.am], is an AI-powered platform that lets anyone from hobbyists to engineers, design real hardware projects in minutes. Think of it as a coding copilot for the physical world: describe what you want to build and blueprint generates the full hardware architecture, bill of materials, wiring diagram, mechanical render, and detailed instructions. We're at an early and exciting stage backed by Founders Inc. growing fast, shipping constantly, and looking for people who want to build something from the ground up. The Role We're looking for a creative hardware content lead who lives at the intersection of building and storytelling. In this role, you'll use blueprint.am [http://blueprint.am] to design and build real hobbyist hardware projects, think DIY health trackers, desktop robots, RC drones, bluetooth gadgets or any hardware projects you'd like to build and document the entire process as short-form video content. You won't just be pointing a camera at a breadboard. You'll be showing the world that hardware design is more accessible than anyone thinks. This is an entry-level, hand-on role with a lot of creative freedom. You'll own the content end-to-end: the idea, the build, the shoot, and the edit. If you're the kind of person who has a half-finished project on your desk and a camera roll full of build photos, we want to talk! What you'll do: * Use blueprint.am [http://blueprint.am] to design and build original hobbyist hardware projects * Film and edit short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, posts on X) showcasing the build process * Post consistently across platforms, ideally 1-2 times daily * Bring your own ideas for projects that would resonate with the maker and hobbyist community * Help shape how blueprint.am [http://blueprint.am] shows up in the world creatively Who You Are * Currently in university or recently graduated, ideally studying engineering, computer science, mechatronics, or related field, or self-taught and building cool things regardless * A maker at heart - you've built hardware projects before, whether that's for a class, a hackathon, or just for fun * Comfortable on camera and natural at explaining technical things in a way that's easy, engaging, and accessible * Good at short-form video - you understand pacing, hooks, and what makes people stop scrolling * Based in Toronto or able to work from here Bonus if you: * Already have a presence on TikTok, Instagram, or X around making/tech * Have experience with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, PCB design, Robotics, or similar * Have a portfolio of past builds or content you can share Why Join Us * Start as a one-month part-time contract, with the possibility of extending into a full-time role * Get in early at a fast-growing hardware tech startup * Creative freedom to pitch and build the projects you actually want to make * Materials and components budget covered * Work on content that genuinely moves the needle - this isn't busywork, it's a core part of how we grow * Flexible hours that work around you schedule
