3twenty Modular is currently seeking a Construction Estimator to join our growing team on a full-time permanent basis. This opportunity is based in Saskatoon, SK, and occasional travel is required. What you’ll do: Collaborate with the sales team and review requests for proposals (RFPs) to gather project requirements for estimate submission. Consolidate requests for information (RFIs) and clarifications from the internal team and vendor partners to assist with preparing quality and competitive proposals. Coordinate with the design team and subcontractors to ensure proposals are feasible and cost-effective. Develop accurate cost estimates for construction projects, considering materials, labour, and other relevant factors. Prepare detailed proposals which include required materials, scope of work, exclusions, pricing and a preliminary construction schedule. Act as a liaison by leading a project hand-off meeting between the sales and project teams to ensure a seamless transition of projects. Stay informed about industry trends and pricing to provide competitive and accurate estimates. Who you’ll work with: The Team: You will collaborate closely with our sales team, designers, specialists, subtrades and project managers to ensure accurate project estimates. Collaborators: By forming key relationships with our supply chain and subcontractors, we are able to collaborate on designs that result in high-quality, cost-efficient builds for our customers. What you’ll bring: A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, construction management or a related field. Five years or more of relevant experience is preferred; a combination of experience and education may be considered. Technical understanding of construction processes and building materials. Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal and external customers. A self-directed approach to identifying inefficiencies and independently driving process improvements.
