In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight across designated routes while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. Your expertise in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and automotive repair will ensure efficient deliveries and maintain our reputation for excellence. *Duties* * Safely operate commercial trucks equipped for freight transportation across various routes. * Load and unload freight using forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed, ensuring proper handling and safety. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, checking for mechanical issues and ensuring compliance with safety standards. * Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment documentation, and asset protection records throughout each shift. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly. * Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when minor mechanical problems arise during trips. * Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure safe operations at all times. *Qualifications* * Valid AZ Commercial Driver?s License (CDL) with a clean driving record. * *NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.* * Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently; forklift certification is a plus. * Knowledge of automotive repair basics to identify mechanical issues quickly. * Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. * Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of safety awareness.
