Our client, a long-time local manufacturer, is looking for a General Labourer for a Filler position within their organization! Our client produces a variety of refinishing and repair products for automotive and industrial application. This role will essentially be filling product into cans. You must be able to lift 50 lbs, read/write/understand English fluently, and be able to wear a respirator when required. As such, it is an ongoing requirement to clean-shaven. Salary: $23.00 per hour, temporary to permanent. Hours of Work: Both options are straight shifts. (Day Shift) Sunday, 6:00pm - 4:30am, Monday to Wednesday, 5:00pm - 3:30am, Thursday overtime if required. (Night Shift) Monday to Thursday, 7:00am - 5:30pm Responsibilities Filling product into cans as required by the manufacturing order. Working with fellow team members on requirements and quality to ensure smooth operation. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while handling materials and operating equipment to ensure a safe work environment. Routine cleaning and sanitization of equipment, as needed. General help with other tasks as needed. Requirements Experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is a strong asset. Must be able to read, write, and understand English fluently. Able to wear a respirator when required (clean-shaven) as you will be working with chemicals. Able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. Ability to work night-shift, full-time, 40 hours per week.
