*Overview* 52 North Manufacturing is a full-service manufacturing group providing best-in-class products for our industrial partners. We are currently looking to add a locally based apprentice electricians to our team who can contribute to the high quality, on-time delivery of our products. Responsibilities include: * Perform electrical and instrumentation installation, testing & inspection at our facility as well as on-site when required * Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and maintenance of equipment, at our facility as well as on-site when required * Provide customer service to clients, while representing 52 North in a professional manner * Complete related reports and work orders, * Provide problem solving and product improvement feedback to management, * Provides basic mechanical repairs and/ or service on site, * Help to create training manuals for equipment, * Work with the maintenance and production departments to maintain and perform repairs on production and auxiliary equipment. Requirements * Strong problem solving/ diagnostic skills, * Safety and quality conscious, * Fast-paced work environment, * Industrial experience, * Can read and understand commercial drawings, * Knows basic wiring methods & electrical code, * Ability to multi-task, balancing daily activities with project related activities, * Requires lifting, standing, sitting, climbing stairs and ladders, working at heights, bending, kneeling and working with tools.
