Architectural Project Manager 6ixDesign Architects & Engineering Inc. 6ixDesign Architects & Engineering Inc. is seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will lead architectural projects through all phases of design and construction, coordinate with clients and project stakeholders, and help maintain a high standard of technical quality across the studio. Key Responsibilities Manage architectural projects through planning, design, construction documentation, tendering, and contract administration. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, authorities having jurisdiction, and other project stakeholders. Coordinate architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, and interior design disciplines. Administer construction contracts and perform payment certification duties. Review shop drawings, RFIs, change orders, contemplated changes, progress claims, and other construction documentation. Monitor project scope, schedule, budget, deliverables, and contractual obligations. Identify project risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies. Manage project conflicts and facilitate practical, collaborative resolutions. Ensure compliance with the Ontario Building Code, National Building Code, AODA, applicable standards, and municipal requirements. Oversee the technical quality and consistency of drawings, specifications, and project documentation produced by the studio. Support the implementation and maintenance of BIM standards, Revit families, templates, and office production procedures. Mentor and collaborate with junior staff to improve the overall technical proficiency and performance of the office. Qualifications Recognized university or college degree or diploma in Architecture, Architectural Science, Architectural Technology, or an equivalent field. Registration with the Ontario Association of Architects or a Project Management Professional certification is considered an asset. Five to eight years of progressive architectural project management experience across all project phases. Experience acting as a payment certifier. Thorough knowledge of CCDC 2, CCDC 5A, and CCDC 5B contracts, as well as OAA Document 600 and OAA Document 900. Strong knowledge of the Ontario Building Code, National Building Code, AODA, and applicable regulations. Practical proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD in both two-dimensional and three-dimensional production environments. Experience applying BIM standards and creating or managing Revit families and templates. Demonstrated ability to manage project risks, conflicts, schedules, budgets, consultants, and construction administration requirements. Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Demonstrated ability to mentor junior staff and oversee studio-wide technical quality.
