Résumé du poste
This senior leadership position is designed for an individual eager to transcend traditional technical tax functions and engage at the convergence of client advisory, transactional activities, and practice development. In this role, you will collaborate with multinational and mid-market clients to devise cross-border tax strategies, structuring solutions, and M&A-related planning. You will often assume the role of lead advisor on intricate international tax issues, providing strategic insights that influence client decisions. This position offers substantial commercial engagement; you will be actively facilitating discussions concerning global expansion, risk management, and international structuring rather than merely reviewing tax returns. A significant part of your responsibilities will include nurturing relationships, broadening client engagements, and guiding the strategic growth of our international tax practice. Internally, you will mentor high-performing teams, collaborate effectively with partners across various service lines, and play a pivotal role in framing the firm’s international tax strategy in the market. This opportunity is ideally suited for someone seeking partner-track visibility, ownership of client relationships, and a significant impact on revenue generation beyond mere execution. **Qualifications:** - Canadian CPA designation - 10+ years of international tax experience within a public accounting firm - Expertise in cross-border tax planning and M&A tax implications - Proficient in transfer pricing principles - Strong client advisory background - Proven team leadership capabilities - Business development acumen
