POSITION OVERVIEW: CFT Recycling is seeking a motivated Preventative Maintenance Assistant to support our Fleet Maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the heavy truck and transport industry while working alongside experienced technicians. The wage for this position is $25.00-$30.00 per hour depending on your skills and experience. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assist heavy truck technicians with repairs and maintenance * Perform greasing and preventative maintenance tasks * Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment * Assist with moving tools, parts, and equipment * Support daily fleet service operations * Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies * Help maintain a safe and professional working environment QUALIFICATIONS: * 3–5+ years of experience as a Preventative Maintenance Assistant or in a similar maintenance role is required. * Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn * Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment * Strong work ethic and positive attitude * Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment * Reliable transportation to and from work * This is an evening and weekend role. Ce que vous ferez

Support the Fleet Maintenance team by performing greasing and preventative maintenance tasks on heavy trucks. Maintain a clean work environment and assist technicians with repairs and daily fleet operations.

Exigences

Requires 3-5+ years of experience in a preventative maintenance or similar role with strong mechanical aptitude. Candidates must be available for evening and weekend shifts and capable of performing heavy physical labor.
