Solid knowledge of Canadian accounting and assurance standards, and familiarity with cross-border considerations involving the United States. Proficiency in using accounting and audit software, working with spreadsheets, and preparing financial statements and supporting schedules. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to present findings, advise clients, and collaborate with colleagues at all levels. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple engagements, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy and professional integrity. Experience supervising, coaching, or mentoring junior team members in an audit or public accounting environment. Professional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent) and prior experience in public practice auditing are strongly preferred. Commitment to continuous learning, staying current with regulatory changes, and contributing to a respectful, inclusive workplace. Technical Skills Experience with CaseWare / CaseView or similar assurance software. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting systems is an asset. Familiarity with Canadian tax preparation software is an asset. We are looking for someone who is technically strong, organized, client-focused, and comfortable taking responsibility for engagements while contributing to the continued growth of the firm.
