Job Title: Front End Developer Location: Toronto, ON (4x onsite a week) Employment Type: Contract Pay Rate: CAD$50/HR INC Interview Type: Face 2 Face (Onsite Interview Only) Job Description 6+ years experience in a front-end function/role Proven expertise in front-end development with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects Multiple years experience in designing wireframes and mock-ups (with a tool like Figma or related), developing, and maintaining web-based applications, architectures and frameworks Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling Proficiency in building data services and managing application state using NGXS/NgRx or similar. Proficiency in reactive programming library such as RxJS. Great eye for detail the ability to transform high fidelity prototypes into pixel-perfect user interfaces. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related front-end technologies Angular, NodeJS etc. Familiarity with UI/UX principles and responsive design techniques and WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize application performance Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively both in a collaborative team environment and autonomously Strong business communication and stakeholder management skills, particularly refining requirements directly from business stakeholders and working with ambiguities Ability to accept accountability, assume leadership and demonstrate initiative Advanced knowledge of, and experience in manipulating large disparate data sets from multiple sources in multiple formats Disclaimer: AI tools may assist in the recruitment process; however, all hiring decisions are made by the recruitment team based on a comprehensive evaluation of candidates.
