Job Title: Salesforce Developer Location: Toronto, ON (4x onsite a week) Employment Type: Contract Pay Rate: CAD$55/HR INC Interview Type: Face 2 Face (Onsite Interview Only) Job Description We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer with 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience to design, develop, customize, and maintain Salesforce applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, integrations, and Salesforce best practices. The candidate must hold a valid Salesforce Platform Developer certification. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions. Develop custom applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, and Visualforce. Customize standard Salesforce objects, workflows, validation rules, approval processes, and Flows. Build and maintain REST/SOAP API integrations with third-party systems. Develop asynchronous processes using Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, Future Methods, and Scheduled Apex. Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues. Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce development best practices. Work with business analysts, administrators, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Maintain technical documentation and deployment processes. Required Skills 5+ years of Salesforce development experience. Strong expertise in Apex Programming. Lightning Web Components (LWC). Aura Components. Visualforce. SOQL and SOSL. Salesforce Flows and Process Automation. REST and SOAP API integrations. Platform Events. Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, Future Methods. Salesforce DX (SFDX). Git and version control. CI/CD deployment using Copado, Gearset, or Azure DevOps. Experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
