Warehouse Material Handler (90022)

ABC Supply Co. is the largest distributor of roofing and siding products across North America. We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Material Handler to join our team. The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for receiving materials, pulling orders for walk-in customers, operating forklifts, and loading products onto delivery trucks. **Responsibilities and Duties:** - SDCB forklift operation. - Delivery preparation and staging. - Organize and maintain the warehouse/yard for ease of picking orders. - Warehouse and yard cleanliness. - Loading and unloading trucks and ensuring associated paperwork is correct. - Verifying and signing off on all outgoing and incoming documentation. - Ensures all materials are stored neatly and put away in their proper locations. - Assists in materials ordering and inventory accuracy. - Participate in all training required by the company. - Able to lift 80lbs throughout the day and be able to work in various weather conditions when unloading/loading - Necessary training is provided - Monday – Friday shifts, 7:00AM – 4:00PM - Ability to perform other duties as assigned **The ideal candidate:** - Has a valid G license - Can do heavy lifting - Likes to work hard in a fun atmosphere - Roofing/Siding background is an asset - MUST have steel-toed work shoes or boots - A forklift license is preferred (willing to train) - Willingness to learn and help in all areas (cross train) **Benefits may include:** - Employees enjoy a comprehensive compensation package. - RRSP with generous company match - eligible on first day of hire - Dental, vision, medical care (Employer Paid - After 3 months) - Extended health care available - Paid sick days - Overtime Hours - Work-Life Balance **Pay Rate Information** $20 per hour.
