We’re seeking a driven, organized, and curious IT applications leader to join our team. This role owns the management and enhancement of our enterprise-wide application stack, consisting of Saas products and proprietary applications in multiple development languages. This role will manage a team of technical and functional resources, internal and external, to create value in our organization through application enhancements, AI-focused initiatives, and comprehensive application redesign projects. This highly visible role interfaces with executive leaders and end users and will own key stakeholder relationships across the business. The ideal candidate has experience leading software development teams, owning AI-enablement initiatives, and collaborating with business stakeholders for highly technical projects. They thrive in environments where accountability and autonomy are high. This role is a player-coach type role, blending people and application leadership with individual contribution. People Management & Cultural Leadership – 30% Application Portfolio Management – 40% Functional and/or Technical Contribution – 30% Mandatory Skills and Experience 2-5 years in a technical or functional IT role focused on management or enhancement of Saas applications Experience in a wholesale distribution or manufacturing organization, preferably industrial Executive leadership engagement and communication Excellent written and verbal communication Critical and strategic thinking, judgement Experience with broad-scale IT change management initiatives Working knowledge of generative and agentic AI systems Performance management, coaching, and feedback Management of consultants and contractors utilizing various contract terms Experience working with colleagues and vendors from different cultural backgrounds JIRA, Microsoft Office, Boomi, on premise SQL servers, EDI, SFTP/FTP, GitLab Experience using and implementing generative and agentic AI tools Highly Desired Skills and Experience NetSuite, Epicor Tableau, on prem MSSQL, Smartsheets, Manage Engine, Tools Group, Avalara Java, JavaScript, .NET development experience Agile, scrum, waterfall methodology management

Exigences

Requires 2-5 years of experience in IT application management, preferably within wholesale distribution or manufacturing. Must have experience with generative AI tools and the ability to engage with executive leadership.
