The environment includes infrastructure spanning three data centres across Canada and the United States, interconnected through a mesh DWDM backbone — giving you exposure to technology and network complexity well beyond a typical support environme nt. What You’ll Be D oingAs a Senior Network Engineer, you will take ownership of complex networking initiatives from initial design through successful implementation and ongoing optimizat ion.You w ill:Design, configure, and deploy enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, and data centre networking solut ionsLead network infrastructure projects from scoping and architecture through implementation and hand overServe as a Tier 3 escalation point, troubleshooting and resolving complex network is suesConfigure and support routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, wireless controllers, and related infrastruc tureWork across technologies from Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, Juniper, Sophos, Aruba, Ubiquiti, and other leading ven dorsSupport and optimize routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and E IGRPWork with VLANs, STP, SD-WAN, VPN technologies, and cloud networking environm entsMonitor network performance and identify opportunities to improve performance, security, redundancy, and resili encyDevelop network diagrams, technical documentation, and standard operating proced uresMentor junior and intermediate engineers and provide technical leadership across the teamPartner directly with clients and internal teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solut ionsParticipate in an on-call rotation supporting business-critical client environm ents What You BringWe are looking for someone who combines strong hands-on technical ability with the confidence to lead projects, troubleshoot complex environments, and communicate effectively with cli ents.Ideally, you b ring:5+ years of progressive network engineering or infrastructure exper ienceAdvanced hands-on knowledge of routing and switching, including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, an d STPExperience with enterprise firewall and security technologies such as Fortinet, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Palo Alto, or S ophosExperience with enterprise wireless technologies such as Cisco Meraki, Aruba, or Ubi quitiWorking knowledge of SD-WAN, VPN, and cloud netwo rkingExposure to Azure and/or AWS networking is an assetExperience with carrier-grade technologies such as MPLS-SR, Cisco NCS, Cisco IOS-XR, and Cisco Nexus is a strong assetCCNP, CCIE, or comparable vendor certifications are strongly pref erredStrong troubleshooting and analytical s killsThe ability to explain complex technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeho ldersA valid driver's licence and the ability to travel to client locations within Ontario when req uiredInternational experience is valued. Canadian work experience is not required, and equivalent experience gained outside Canada will receive equal considera tion.
