Job Title: Data Scientist Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 2 days/week onsite) Duration: 6+ Months Contract-to-Hire Must Have Skills 4+ years of Data Science experience Strong Python, SQL, Databricks, and Splunk experience (Mandatory) Hands-on Machine Learning & Predictive Modeling Experience with Snowflake/PySpark and cloud data platforms Power BI reporting and data visualization Experience with retail/POS, eCommerce, or consumer goods data Short Job Description Seeking a Data Scientist to build and deploy predictive analytics and machine learning models that drive business growth. The role involves analyzing large datasets, developing forecasting and segmentation models, automating analytics using Python and SQL, and collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Category teams to deliver actionable business insights. Experience with cloud-based data platforms, Databricks, Splunk, Snowflake, and Power BI is highly preferred.

The Data Scientist will build and deploy predictive analytics and machine learning models to drive business growth. This includes analyzing large datasets and collaborating with various teams to deliver actionable insights.

Candidates must have 4+ years of Data Science experience and strong skills in Python, SQL, Databricks, and Splunk. Experience with machine learning, predictive modeling, and cloud data platforms is also required.
