SERVICE ASSOCIATE, COMMERCIAL INSURANCE Your attention to detail of policy reviews, invoicing and internal service focus are the keys to success in the role of Service Associate, Commercial Insurance. This non-client facing role is responsible for providing general support to the commercial lines teams with tasks such as, but not limited to reviewing and auditing policy documents for accuracy, invoicing premiums, handling internal instructions and organizing file documentation. LOCATION AND STATUS Calgary, AB Full-time permanent QUALIFICATIONS 2+ years of Commercial Insurance experience or a minimum of 2 – 5 years of Personal Insurance experience Alberta Level 1 License a requirement CIP or CAIB designation, or working towards is considered an asset VALUES & COMPETENCIES High degree of professionalism and integrity Critical thinker with strong attention to details Very organized and able to adjust to tight and changing deadlines Role is not client facing so the candidate must be committed to excellence in service and “behind the scenes” support and building strong relationships with the Commercial Lines Teams Skilled user of the Microsoft Office Suite of products (Epic Knowledge an Asset) Handles a fast-paced environment well and demonstrates accountability, accuracy and reliability in the quality of work Flexible and adaptable with proven problem-solving skills Works well within a team and independently Enjoys mentoring and training junior Service Team members Acera Insurance is the largest independent, employee-controlled brokerages in Canada. Candidates must have at least 2 years of Commercial Insurance experience or 2-5 years of Personal Insurance experience and hold an Alberta Level 1 License. A CIP or CAIB designation is considered an asset.
