Job Role : CIAM Engineer Location : Toronto ON(Hybrid) Job Type : Full time Permanent Salary range: CAD $120,000 /Year Required Skills : • Strong knowledge of identity standards and protocols AUTH 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC)SAML 2.0JWT, PK CE• Experience with API security and tokenbased authenticati on• Familiarity with web and mobile application integrati on• Experience with REST APIs and JS ON• Working knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)CIAM automation and configuration using scripts or SDKsSecurity Complian ce• Strong understanding of CIAM security risks and contro ls• Experience implementing privacy, consent, and data protection requiremen ts• Familiar with OWASP Top 10, identity related threats, and mitigation techniqu es Roles and responsibiliti es:• Design, implement, and operate CIAM solutions for customer and partner identit ies• Develop secure authentication and authorization flows for consumer facing applicati ons• Implement and support Single SignOn (S SO)• Multi Factor Authentication (MFA)Social and password less login Integrate CIAM platforms with web, mobile, and API based applicati ons• Design consent management, profile management, and privacy contr ols• Implement identity federation using modern protocols and standa rds• Support customer identity lifecycle management (registration, updates, deactivati on)• Ensure scalability, performance, and high availability of CIAM platfo rms• Enforce security, privacy, and compliance standards (GDPR, CCPA, consent, data residen cy)• Troubleshoot authentication issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration defects Collaborate with application developers, security teams, and product own ers• Support audits, threat modeling, and incident response related to customer ident ity• Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbo oks

Design and implement secure CIAM solutions, including authentication flows, SSO, and MFA for consumer-facing applications. Manage identity lifecycles, privacy controls, and ensure compliance with data protection standards like GDPR and CCPA.

Requires strong knowledge of identity protocols such as OAuth 2.0 and OIDC, along with experience in API security and cloud platforms. Candidates must understand CIAM security risks, OWASP Top 10, and privacy requirements.
