Role - Data Engineer (Snowflake / AWS) Location - Toronto, ON (Hybrid) Experience - 8+ years Type - Full Time Permanent Roles and Responsibilities Design and implementation of scalable Big Data and Cloud Data Solutions leveraging AWS, Spark, Hive, and Snowflake. Development of enterprise-grade data ingestion, transformation, and integration pipelines supporting analytical and operational workloads. Delivery of optimized data warehouse and data lake structures, including logical and physical data models. Creation of reusable data engineering frameworks, standards, and technical documentation. Implementation of data quality, validation, monitoring, and governance controls across data platforms. Performance tuning and optimization of data processing workflows, Snowflake environments, and cloud infrastructure. Support for analytics, reporting, and AI/ML initiatives through delivery of trusted and curated data assets. Knowledge transfer, technical guidance, and operational support documentation to ensure sustainable platform management.

Design and implement scalable cloud data solutions and enterprise-grade ingestion pipelines using AWS and Snowflake. Optimize data warehouse structures and implement governance controls to support analytics and AI/ML initiatives.

The candidate must have over 8 years of experience in data engineering. Expertise in AWS, Spark, Hive, and Snowflake is required to build and manage complex data architectures.
