Institutional Sales & Service Associate Location: Downtown Toronto, ON (Hybrid - 4 days/week in office) Duration: 12-Months with potential for extension or more Compensation: $30-$35/hour plus 4% vacation pay; paid weekly About the Opportunity Our client, a leading investment management organization, is seeking an experienced Institutional Sales & Service Associate to join their Institutional Sales & Service team in Toronto. This role supports institutional clients and strategic distribution partners throughout the client lifecycle, working closely with Sales and Relationship Managers to deliver exceptional service, strengthen client relationships, and support long-term asset retention. This is an excellent opportunity for a financial services professional with experience serving institutional clients and navigating complex client requests within an investment management, banking, or securities environment. Key Responsibilities Client Service & Relationship Management Deliver high-quality service and support to institutional clients. Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries and service requests. Manage and resolve client issues by coordinating with internal stakeholders. Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients. Support client retention through proactive and effective servicing. Operations & Sales Support Coordinate and manage client deliverables, presentations, and reporting materials. Ensure requests and deliverables are completed accurately and within established timelines. Support the completion of Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs). Partner with internal teams to address account-related inquiries and operational matters. Assist with ongoing sales and relationship management initiatives. Compliance & Strategic Support Maintain accurate client records within CRM systems. Support compliance reviews and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with Sales and Relationship Managers to achieve business objectives. Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as required. Qualifications Required Experience Minimum 3 years of experience within investment management, banking, asset management, or the securities industry. Proven experience servicing institutional clients in a client-facing, operational, or relationship management capacity. Demonstrated ability to manage institutional client expectations and navigate complex client requests. University degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience. Strong understanding of investment management processes and client servicing best practices. Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is considered an asset. Advanced proficiency in all Microsoft Office tools Professional Competencies Strong client service orientation with a sales and marketing mindset. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities. Why Apply?
