Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Inventory Reconciliation Analyst for our client in downtown Calgary, AB. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical and detail-oriented professional with experience in inventory reconciliation, accounting, supply chain operations, or commodities logistics. In this role, you will support the accurate tracking and reconciliation of inventory movements across multiple distribution terminals throughout Canada while working closely with operations, accounting, settlements, and commercial teams. Here's why you should apply: Paid weekly accurate and on time Strong health and safety programs Medical and dental benefits once qualified Free training programs New and quicker onboarding process Responsibilities: Inventory Reconciliation & Analysis Perform daily inventory reconciliations across multiple distribution terminals throughout Canada Ensure inventory transactions and material movements are accurately reflected in SAP and related systems Analyze inventory discrepancies, abnormal stock movements, and transactional variances Investigate root causes and coordinate corrective actions with internal and external stakeholders Monitor inventory accuracy and support timely issue resolution Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with terminal operations, front office teams, accounting, settlements, and external partners Support customer and supplier inventory reconciliations and variance investigations Facilitate communication between stakeholders to resolve inventory-related issues Provide inventory insights and support business decision-making Compliance & Reporting Perform daily and monthly compliance activities, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls Support month-end close activities by validating inventory transactions and balances Prepare reports and documentation to support audit and compliance requirements Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and internal controls Process Improvement & Performance Contribute to achieving and exceeding key performance indicators (KPIs) Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at preventing recurring variances Assist with special projects and operational improvements as required Qualifications and Skills: Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Accounting, or a related field Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory reconciliation, accounting, inventory management, or supply chain operations Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, or similar ERP systems Experience supporting inventory movements, reconciliations, and transaction analysis Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Microsoft Power Platform tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to investigate complex variances and identify root causes Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience in energy, commodities, logistics, transportation, or related industries is considered an asset Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
