Adecco is currently recruiting a Quality Supervisor for a permanent position with our client in Arnprior, ON. This is a 100% onsite position. The successful candidate must be eligible for a Controlled Goods Clearance. Pay rate: $52,000 – 65, 000 | Benefits: Health, Vision & Dental from Day 1 | Vacation: 2 weeks + 7 sick days and 1 PTO Location: Ottawa, ON Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm Job type: Permanent | Full-time The Quality Supervisor will have the following responsibilities: Supervise daily quality control operations, including incoming material inspection, in-process checks, and final product audits. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards across all production activities. Develop and maintain quality documentation, including inspection records, calibration logs, and corrective action reports. Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for nonconformities. Train and mentor quality inspectors on inspection techniques, documentation, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with production, product line and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes. Monitor and report key quality metrics (e.g., defect rates, rework percentages, audit findings). Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean concepts and A3 problem-solving methodologies. Ensure proper handling and traceability of ballistic materials and finished armor products. The Facilitator Consultant should have the following qualifications and skills: Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards. Excellent leadership and team development skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management systems (QMS). Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Education and Experience Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada Minimum 3–5 years of experience in quality supervision within manufacturing; defense or PPE industry preferred. Certification in Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methodology is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on the production floor. Visual acuity for detailed inspections. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.
