The Role The Coater Helper works as part of a supportive, team‑oriented environment, assisting with sandblasting and coating processes and contributing to overall shop cleanliness and upkeep. Key Responsibilities Interpret work orders and prepare, paint, and coat product Assist the Coater with applying rubber and pyroxylin coatings Handle raw materials and finished products; clean coating materials and equipment Perform production bending once setup is complete Complete general shop duties, including torch cutting, saw cutting, washing, sand filling, and related tasks Measure, inspect, label, and package in‑process and finished products Assist with the operation and basic maintenance of coating equipment Work collaboratively as part of a team to operate and clean the range Follow the Quality Management System (QMS) and complete all required quality records What You Bring High school diploma or GED equivalent Forklift certification considered an asset Paint and coating experience considered an asset Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), including production, receiving, shipping, inspection and testing, traceability, nonconformances, corrective and preventive actions, document control, and record control Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities Thank you for your interest in Advanced Bending Technologies.
