Aeolus Staffing Solutions is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a large-scale curriculum renewal initiative within a complex academic health sciences environment. This is not an IT Project Management role. We are seeking a project leader with experience managing transformational initiatives in higher education, medical education, healthcare, or academic environments, working closely with senior leadership, faculty, and governance committees. The Ideal Candidate Will Have Experience In: Undergraduate Medical Education (UGME) Medical Schools or Faculties of Medicine Universities or Post-Secondary Institutions Academic Health Sciences Centres Teaching Hospitals Healthcare Education Curriculum Renewal or Academic Program Transformation Responsibilities Lead a complex, multi-year curriculum renewal initiative from planning through implementation. Coordinate multiple interdependent workstreams across academic and administrative teams. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, risk registers, and milestone tracking. Work closely with faculty members, department chairs, senior leadership, and governance committees. Facilitate committee meetings and ensure action items are completed on schedule. Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies. Prepare executive reports, presentations, briefing materials, and status updates. Ensure project activities support institutional priorities and accreditation requirements. Build consensus among diverse stakeholder groups while managing competing priorities. Required Qualifications Master's degree in Education, Health Sciences, Health Professions Education, Project Management, Program Management, or a related discipline. PMP Certification (mandatory). Minimum 5–7 years of senior project or program management experience. Demonstrated experience leading large-scale organizational transformation projects. Experience working within universities, academic medicine, healthcare, or similar complex institutions. Experience supporting governance committees, executive leadership, and multidisciplinary stakeholder groups. Excellent project planning, risk management, budgeting, and reporting skills. Strong Assets Experience within a Faculty of Medicine or Medical School. Experience supporting Undergraduate Medical Education (UGME). Familiarity with curriculum governance and curriculum renewal initiatives. Knowledge of CACMS or LCME accreditation processes. Experience managing academic governance structures. Language Requirement Full professional fluency in both English and French (spoken and written) is mandatory. Applications from candidates whose experience is primarily focused on IT implementations, software development, ERP deployments, construction, or infrastructure projects without higher education or healthcare transformation experience may not be considered.
