They are currently seeking a dynamic, experienced, and passionate Medical Director to oversee the clinical operation. Position Summary: As our Medical Director, you’ll oversee clinical operations, ensuring that all procedures are performed in compliance with medical regulations and safety standards. You will oversee an experienced team of medical professionals while ensuring that treatments meet the highest standards of care and patient satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Provide medical leadership and supervision to the clinical team, including physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of clinical protocols, treatment plans, and procedures. Ensure all treatments are performed in compliance with Ontario’s healthcare regulations and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) standards. Perform consultations with clients to determine their treatment needs, recommend personalized services, and oversee treatment plans as needed. Conduct medical assessments and provide ongoing evaluations of clients’ health and wellness as required. Maintain knowledge of the latest advancements in aesthetic medicine, cosmetic procedures, and medical spa trends. Ensure the highest level of patient safety and satisfaction, resolving any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate with the spa’s management team to ensure the effective delivery of services and alignment with business goals. Develop, monitor, and review clinical policies and procedures for quality assurance and compliance with safety and health regulations. Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to medical staff and non-medical staff to ensure the highest standard of care. Liaise with the spa’s leadership team to provide feedback on operational efficiencies and continuous improvement initiatives. Stay current with regulatory changes, industry standards, and emerging treatments relevant to the medical spa industry. Requirements Must be a licensed physician in Ontario with active registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO). Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years preferably in a medical spa, aesthetic medicine setting or related field (e.g. dermatology, plastic surgery). Experience in supervising medical teams and managing clinical operations in a medical spa or related healthcare facility. Specialized training or certification in aesthetic procedures (e.g., Botox, dermal fillers, laser treatments, PRP, etc.) is an asset. Knowledge of Ontario healthcare regulations and standards, including those specific to medical spas and non-surgical aesthetic treatments. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and staff. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
