Job Description On behalf of our Healthcare client, Affinity Healthcare Solutions is looking for a CIS Clinical Business Analyst Clinical Documentation - Therapeutics. The role of the Clin Doc Analyst encompasses several activities to develop clinical standards and the implementation of the CIS for use throughout the province. The primary focus is to support the creation of standard order sets, documentation templates and other workflows used by physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, and other regulated health professionals providing bedside care as it relates to Documentation. Deliverables / Responsibilities Conduct a detailed review of existing business requirements. Collaborate with clinical experts to gather input and insights for the development and refinement of clinical standards. Design and facilitate validation sessions to: Confirm existing requirements. Gather new business and IT requirements. Perform gap analysis. Create and maintain process and solution documentation, including: Workflows. Use cases. User guides. Training materials. Perform comprehensive business and client requirements analysis to support the development, operation, and deployment of the clinical standardisation project. Recommend, implement, and monitor solutions to achieve project objectives. Build, validate, and test clinical content within the Clinical Information System (CIS). Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful delivery and implementation of the clinical standardisation project. Develop and execute stakeholder communication plans. Complete the Department's Privacy Training and sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before starting the assignment. Mandatory Requirements University degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 5+ years of experience as a Clinical Analyst, Clinical Informatics Analyst, or equivalent, with responsibility for: Clinical documentation requirements gathering. Workshop facilitation. Use case analysis. Business process analysis. Detailed design activities. Business analysis documentation. 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Clinical Informatics Analyst on large-scale acute care digital health transformation or CIS/EHR implementation projects. Direct experience building or implementing large-scale Clinical Information Systems (CIS/EHR). Experience developing clinical deliverables supporting therapeutics. Available to start on the date specified in the Statement of Work (SOW). Maximum of two vendor submissions permitted. Scored Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Clinical Business Analyst supporting: Clinical documentation requirements gathering. Workshop facilitation. Use case analysis. Business process analysis. Detailed design/build activities. Implementation activities. Clinical documentation related to therapeutic services or therapeutics in an acute care environment. Additional experience with one or more of the following: Computerized Provider Order Entry (CPOE). Order sets. Clinical documentation. Ancillary services (Pharmacy, Medical Imaging, Laboratory). Bilingual communication skills in English and French (strongly preferred). 3+ years of experience leading workshops with healthcare providers to: Gather and define business requirements. Identify system requirements. Develop user stories and use cases. 5+ years of experience demonstrating: Self-direction and independence. Strong interpersonal skills. Effective collaboration with project teams, SMEs, and stakeholders at all levels. 5+ years of experience managing multiple priorities, projects, and teams simultaneously. 5+ years of experience using: Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, Teams). Atlassian JIRA. Previous experience working within public health authorities. Knowledge of public healthcare policies, practices, and operations.
