You'll lead the Advisory Credit Centre, providing leadership and oversight for centralized credit adjudication across small business, agricultural, and defined consumer lending streams. You'll ensure credit decisions are timely, consistent, and aligned with lending policies and risk frameworks, while building the credit capability of teams across the organization. What you’ll do Lead centralized credit adjudication activities (such as decisioning standards, quality, referral criteria) for small business, agricultural, and defined consumer lending streams within the Advisory Credit Centre. Provides guidance, coaching, and support to lenders and Advice Centre teams on credit structure, documentation requirements, adjudication expectations, and lending practices. Supports achievement of targeted loan growth while managing risk and exposure to credit loss through championing strong credit practices. Exercises adjudication authority within limits and ensures appropriate escalation and tracking of out-of-scope, higher-risk, or complex credit decisions to the second-line. What you’ve got Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field, plus 7 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Advanced knowledge of complex credit structuring, risk evaluation methodologies, and adjudication practices, particularly within small business and agricultural lending. Strong understanding of credit processes, adjudication workflows, and operational controls within a centralized lending environment. The ability to balance sound risk management with business growth objectives Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing teams while driving accountability and performance.
