AfterQuery is seeking Chemistry Experts to create and refine chemistry reasoning challenges for our AI training modules. In this remote, flexible role, you will design and evaluate problems spanning organic, inorganic, physical, and analytical chemistry that test an AI model’s ability to reason through reactions, mechanisms, spectra, and laboratory scenarios with scientific rigor. Develop high-quality chemistry problems and case studies to challenge and train AI models. Evaluate model responses for scientific accuracy and provide detailed feedback to refine reasoning capabilities.

Requires an advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Chemistry or equivalent industry experience with expertise in at least two chemistry subfields. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential, with laboratory or publication experience preferred.
