AfterQuery is seeking Chemistry Experts to create and refine chemistry reasoning challenges for our AI training modules. In this remote, flexible role, you will design and evaluate problems spanning organic, inorganic, physical, and analytical chemistry that test an AI model’s ability to reason through reactions, mechanisms, spectra, and laboratory scenarios with scientific rigor. Develop high-quality chemistry problems, mechanism walkthroughs, and lab-scenario case studies to challenge AI models. Evaluate and validate model responses by providing detailed feedback on scientific accuracy and reasoning.

Requires an advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Chemistry or a related field with expertise in at least two chemistry subfields. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential, with laboratory or teaching experience preferred.
