AfterQuery is seeking Chemistry Experts to create and refine chemistry reasoning challenges for our AI training modules. In this remote, flexible role, you will design and evaluate problems spanning organic, inorganic, physical, and analytical chemistry that test an AI model’s ability to reason through reactions, mechanisms, spectra, and laboratory scenarios with scientific rigor. Develop high-quality chemistry problems and lab-scenario case studies to challenge AI models. Evaluate and validate model responses to ensure scientific accuracy and reasoning rigor.

Requires an advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Chemistry or equivalent industry experience. Must have a strong command of at least two chemistry subfields and exceptional communication skills.
