About Us Generations Toronto is a not-for-profit, intergenerational community campus offering affordable housing, long-term care, early childhood education, health services, and community programming. The campus includes a 122-bed Ismaili Ethnocultural Designated Long-Term Care Home. AgeCare has been appointed as the manager of the Generations Toronto long-term care home and is recruiting the Nursing Unit Clerk on behalf of Generations Toronto. The Opportunity: This Nursing Unit Clerk is responsible for coordinating the daily staffing of the Nursing Department. This role assists in maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, and other staff members. What Is In It For You: • Assists in the coordination of staffing and scheduling needs for the Nursing Department including replacement of staff on a daily "call in" basis and updating staffing changes on the Master Schedule and daily compliments. • Obtains approval for overtime work from the Director of Care. • Maintains attendance/absenteeism reports and communicates any recurrent absenteeism to the Director of Care. What You Will Need: High School diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary education an asset. Must have exceptional English communication skills, both orally and in writing. May be required to obtain and maintain current CPR. Salary Range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Salary placement based on qualifications and experience.
