Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Accounting Manager in the town of in Halton Hills,, Ontario. The Accounting Manager oversees auditing, the Bookkeeping Program, and the Centralized Payment Program at Head Office, while supporting key financial operations. The ideal candidate brings proven full-cycle accounting experience. Total Rewards $80000.00 - $90000.00 annually Hybrid work model: 2 remote days and 3 in-office days per week (will be fully remote until the new office opens in Fall 2026). A Typical Day Provide guidance to franchise partners on financial reporting practices, including project costing and revenue tracking. Lead audit activities to verify revenue accuracy and support financial integrity across the network. Administer and monitor centralized payment processes, ensuring transactions are accurate and completed on time. Oversee receivables, follow up on outstanding balances, and implement strategies to strengthen cash flow performance. Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and month-end reporting requirements. Maintain accurate financial records, support tax compliance obligations, and ensure adherence to established accounting controls. Successful Candidates Will Have Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, including exposure to the full accounting cycle. Solid understanding of Canadian accounting practices, indirect tax filings, and account reconciliation processes. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with advanced attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience using QuickBooks Online; familiarity with construction accounting, project-based operations, or job costing is considered an asset.
