Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for an Engineering Manager, Fluid Power in the Industrial Manufacturing industry in Guelph, Ontario. This leadership opportunity is ideal for an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in hydraulics and fluid power systems. You will lead a team responsible for the design, development, and delivery of custom hydraulic solutions while driving project execution, technical excellence, and continuous improvement across engineering operations. Responsibilities: Lead and manage the Fluid Power engineering team and project workload Develop custom hydraulic solutions using schematic design tools Design hydraulic manifolds and hydraulic power units Collaborate with mechanical teams to develop bills of materials and engineering drawings Support engineering proposals, applications, system integration, and safety reviews Manage projects to meet scope, budget, quality, and schedule requirements Mentor engineering staff, including co-op students and new team members Develop testing procedures and provide support throughout the project lifecycle Requirements: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline Bring experience leading engineering projects and technical teams Demonstrate strong knowledge of fluid power and hydraulic systems Possess experience with hydraulic power units, manifolds, or mobile equipment applications Utilize Automation Studio or similar hydraulic design software Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities Work effectively in cross-functional environments while promoting safety and ethical business practices Total rewards: $85000.00 - $120000.00 annually Participate in a matching RRSP program Receive comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage Join a collaborative and supportive company culture Access career growth and advancement opportunities Attend company-sponsored events and team activities Receive a boot allowance Benefit from referral incentives and on-site parking This posting is for an active opening.
