Total rewards: Receive pension contributions with employer matching options Access flexible health and wellness benefits for you and your family Enjoy generous vacation and personal days Participate in employee recognition and rewards programs Receive annual wellness support funding Join an organization committed to professional growth and career development Earn a full-time permanent senior leadership salary starting around $200,000 with flexibility for the right candidate Participate in an annual performance incentive program Responsibilities: Lead the safe and compliant operation of a large-scale thermal power facility Serve as Chief Power Engineer and provide operational oversight for plant performance Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to maximize reliability and availability Develop and implement operational procedures, standards, and best practices Lead safety initiatives, incident investigations, and risk mitigation activities Manage operator training and regulatory compliance programs Develop and execute business plans, budgets, and operational strategies Mentor supervisors and build a high-performing, accountable team culture Requirements: Hold a First Class Power Engineer Certificate of Competency Bring 10+ years of experience in power generation, cogeneration, or large industrial operations Demonstrate progressive leadership experience managing operations teams Possess strong knowledge of power plant operations, equipment, and regulatory requirements Have experience leading plant outages, reliability initiatives, and operational improvements Demonstrate strong safety leadership and risk management capabilities Apply sound financial acumen in budgeting and business planning Communicate effectively with technical, operational, and executive stakeholders

Lead the safe and compliant operation of a large-scale thermal power facility while serving as the Chief Power Engineer. Drive operational excellence by collaborating with maintenance and engineering teams to maximize plant reliability and performance.

Must hold a First Class Power Engineer Certificate of Competency and possess over 10 years of experience in power generation or large industrial operations. Requires a proven track record of progressive leadership and strong safety management capabilities.
