Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Project Manager in the metals industry in Mississauga, Ontario. The Project Manager will oversee industrial projects within a mechanically and chemically focused engineering environment. This role involves leading complex initiatives in industrial plant settings, ensuring projects are completed on time, meet quality standards, and comply with all safety and regulatory requirements. The position is responsible for ensuring projects are properly defined, planned, and executed in alignment with agreed-upon scope, budget, schedule, and quality objectives. Total rewards: $120000.00 - $130000.00 annually Health & Dental Benefits Vacation allotment A typical day: Plan, execute, and monitor projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and schedule. Manage client relationships, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Support the sales management in drafting sales proposals particularly for complex projects. Guarantee the project planning emission in due time, according to the contacts. Collaborate with the business development and sales departments. Lead negotiations with contractors Oversee contract administration, contract progress and change control. Manage third parties under sub-contract. Facilitate accurate forecasting and achieve contractual project schedules cost. Successful candidates will have: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering (or related discipline). 5–10 years of experience in project management within industrial environments or plant operations EPC experience is required Strong knowledge of mechanical and chemical processes in heavy industry. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. PMP certification or equivalent is an asset. Experience in metals and mining or combustion-intensive processes is an asset Familiarity with advanced process control technologies Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Gantt charts) and engineering software (AutoCAD, Aspen HYSYS). Ability and willingness to travel internationally - must have a valid passport, and be eligible to gain unlimited entry into foreign countries and continents, including USA, South America, Asia, and Europe
