The Support and Development Center provide services to Agnico Eagle's various Canadian and / or international mining operations in a variety of areas, including administration, financial services, IT, supply chain, human resources, communications, construction as well as technical services (geology, engineering, metallurgy, infrastructure, marketing, innovation, and digital transformation). Your Next Challenge Reporting to the Superintendent of H&S Construction, the candidate will play a vital role in ensuring worker safety and compliance with safety standards during the construction phases of mining projects. Assisting the Canadian health and safety teams throughout all phases of construction. This position requires strong communication skills to interact with various stakeholders, contractors, site supervisors, project managers. In addition, the H&S Coordinator will collaborate closely with multiple teams across all construction projects to develop synergies, improve processes and optimize the use of existing tools. Responsibilities Safety Planning and Implementation: Assist in developing and implementing safety corrective action plans based on the needs of each site Inspection, Audit and Monitoring: Conduct regular inspections/audits of construction sites to identify potential hazards and ensure proper use of safety equipment. Monitor work practices to ensure compliance with safety protocols. Coordination with Construction Teams: Work closely with site H&S site Coordinators, Site managers and other construction team members to Ensure all construction activities comply with established safety standards. Incident Management: Support investigations in the event of an accident or incident on the construction site to determine the causes and implement corrective measures. Continuous Improvement: Analyze safety BBO’s data and trends to identify activities or areas for improvement. Support in the implementation of continuous safety initiatives to reduce risks. Reporting and Documentation: Assisting for accurate documentation of safety activities, inspections, incidents, and training. Risk Management and Monitoring System (RMMS): Oversee the implementation and engagement of RMMS thru our project by identifying actions to be putted in place to comply with the company expectation. Risk Assessment: Conduct and/or assist detailed risk assessments for each construction project to identify potential hazards and implement preventative measures. Promoting Safety Culture: Encourage a proactive safety culture among workers by rewarding safe behaviors and emphasizing the importance of safety in all construction activities. Training and Awareness: Support construction management of all sites to organize training sessions for to inform them of specific construction-related hazards, new regulation and appropriate safe practices. What You Need To Succeed Certificate Administration Minimum of 5 years industrial construction project admin role. Minimum of 2 years in office administration role. Essential for interacting with various stakeholders, contractors, team supervisors, and project managers. Working closely with multiple teams across all construction projects to develop synergies, improve processes, and optimize the use of existing tools. Prioritizing proactive management to ensure safety measures are always ahead of potential risks.
