Your Next Challenge Reporting to the Process Plant Supervisor, you will be part of the Process Plant Team. You will be accountable for the safe operation of the vacuum truck and ensuring a safe approach to all tasks performed. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment. Ensuring the safety of the team by applying a zero harm approach to all tasks performed; Operate vacuum units and associated equipment in a safe manner; Ensuring proper load securement of hoses and other equipment; Responsible for transporting, loading and offloading fluids at various locations; Completing operational inspections and housekeeping in designated sections of the plant; Assist with preparing and cleaning equipment for maintenance personnel; Assist with the Day Services team from time-to-time; Ensuring any safety issues are remedied and/or promptly reported to shift supervisor. What You Need To Succeed Minimum High School Diploma or GED; DZ License; Minimum 2-5 years of experience operating a Vacuum Truck; Experience working in an industrial plant setting is considered an asset; Strong knowledge of various vacuum units and their proper operation; Ability to work in various outdoor weather conditions; Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with ability to lift 50lbs or more; Willingness to learn and demonstrate potential to develop; Good verbal and listening skills; Motivated, reliability and enjoy working as part of a team. Your Work Schedule Schedule: 14/14 schedule at our Detour Lake Mine; Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.

The operator is responsible for the safe operation of vacuum units, including the transport, loading, and offloading of fluids. They must perform operational inspections and assist with equipment cleaning and maintenance within the process plant.

Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED, a DZ License, and 2-5 years of experience operating a vacuum truck. Physical ability to lift 50lbs and the capacity to work in demanding outdoor weather conditions are required.
