Your Next Challenge Based at the Detour Lake Mine site, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Production Geology Co-op Student to join our Technical Services team reporting to the Senior Mine Geologist. The Production Geology Co-op Student will be responsible for supporting the Mine Technical Services team and Mine Geology in efficient and safe mining operations. Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include: Provide support to the Mine Geology team in various competences such as RC drilling and Open Pit Grade Control (operational tasks and field based); Exposure to Geotechnical Engineering, Short-Term Planning, Fleet Management and Mine Operations; As assigned, evaluate and provide input to improve processes in the mine affecting quality, safety and productivity.
