This role offers the opportunity to join an organization in full transformation, where Health & Safety is at the core of decision-making. Based at the Granby site, you will be part of a highly dynamic and collaborative team and will be invited to take on stimulating challenges to strengthen a strong and sustainable safety culture. Develop a strong preventive culture where Health & Safety is recognized as a core value that is never compromised; Lead the deployment of the Agropur Health & Safety Management System, including site programs and tools; Influence, coach, and guide teams to achieve Health & Safety performance targets, reduce risks, and ensure execution of H&S fundamentals: Support the site in developing annual plans aligned with established priorities; Support, coach, and monitor leading indicators (H&S fundamentals and key preventive activities); Drive improvement of safety performance and recommend actions to achieve site objectives; Facilitate and coach incident investigations to identify root causes and eliminate risks and hazards; Support the site in defining, tracking, and closing actions resulting from audits, regulatory reviews, and investigations; Actively participate in Gemba walks and site Health & Safety inspections; Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly operational reviews; Lead and/or actively participate in the Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) and sub-committees as required; Coordinate and support the development of Health & Safety competencies across the site; Provide guidance and technical expertise to ensure the effective implementation of major H&S programs; Act as a coach and trusted partner for all plant personnel. ‘The individual who will own this role’ Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field; 3–5 years of experience in Health & Safety, preferably in a manufacturing environment; Strong knowledge of H&S regulations and best practices; An environment that values engagement and encourages everyone to take initiative. Exigences
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is required, along with strong knowledge of safety regulations.
