A competitive wage starting at $18.50/hr + semi-annual bonus of up to 3.75% A new pair of steel toe boots from day 1 Exclusive employee discounts on parts from any Kenny U-Pull yard Job Description We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team in Gatineau, QC from Monday-Friday starting at 6:00am to 2:30pm for a TEMPORARY 6-month position. As a labourer, you will play a vital role in our daily operations by assisting in the dismantling and recycling process of vehicles. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about automobiles, enjoy hands-on work. What you’re responsible for: Dismantling and depolluting vehicles safely using hand tools and power tools Preparing vehicles for resale and/or display in the yard Dismounting wheels, rims and tires Cleaning, testing, and sorting batteries for resale Sorting and organizing salvaged parts for inventory Maintaining a clean and organized yard and work environment Qualifications To join our team: Previous experience in a general labour or similar role Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) Reliable and willingness to learn different areas of the business Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
