Job Summary: Manages end‑to‑end telecom and network procurement, designs WAN/LAN, IP, voice, and Wi‑Fi solutions, and recommends Cisco/Juniper equipment. Negotiates with carriers and OEMs, prepares proposals and RFP/RFI responses, and oversees telecom/IT contracts. Ensures scalable, secure, high‑performance solutions while supporting sales, PM, and operations teams across all project phases. Key Responsibilities: * Manage end‑to‑end telecom and network procurement for Ainsworth clients, including vendor selection, pricing evaluation, and contract negotiation. * Identify, assess, and negotiate agreements with telecom carriers, OEMs, and suppliers to secure optimal commercial and technical conditions. * Select appropriate telecom services and network equipment aligned with business needs and solution architecture requirements. * Provide technical support to sales teams on data, voice, Wi‑Fi, and network infrastructure solutions. * Assist with client escalations and participate in solution design reviews to ensure successful delivery. * Support post‑sales implementation and troubleshooting when required. * Design complete telecom and network solutions, including IP networks (BBN), WAN/LAN architectures, voice systems, and enterprise Wi‑Fi. * Specify and recommend hardware solutions, including Cisco and Juniper switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. * Ensure scalability, security, and performance across all proposed solutions. * Develop detailed sales proposals that align with client requirements and highlight Ainsworth’s capabilities. * Prepare accurate RFP/RFI responses with complete technical and commercial information. * Produce competitive project estimates aligned with scope, budget, and solution design. * Manage telecom, network, and IT service contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions. * Develop pricing strategies balancing profitability and competitiveness. * Present contract and solution details to internal teams and clients. * Build and maintain strong relationships with telecom operators and OEMs (Cisco, Juniper). * Negotiate pricing, discounts, and support agreements with vendors. * Maintain and track vendor certifications to access preferred pricing and technical resources. * Support project management teams in delivering telecom and network projects within SLAs, timelines, and quality standards. * Collaborate with operations, engineering, and network specialists to resolve technical challenges. Qualifications : * Bachelor’s degree in telecommunications, engineering, computer science, business, or a related field (preferred). * Cisco CCNE or equivalent Juniper certification. * Strong practical understanding of enterprise network infrastructure, including: * Cisco and Juniper switches * Firewalls and network security technologies * Wireless access points (enterprise Wi‑Fi solutions) * Deep understanding of: * Telecom procurement and carrier services * Internet connectivity (DIA, MPLS, broadband, LTE/5G) * WAN/LAN design and network architecture * Experience aligning connectivity solutions with managed networks and support services. * Strong technical writing and communication skills. * Proven ability to prepare proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and technical documentation. * Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills. * Ability to manage telecom, network, and IT service contracts. * Experience maintaining vendor certifications to access preferred pricing and technical resources. * Highly organized with strong analytical abilities and attention to detail. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. * Proficiency with CRM systems. * Experience with project management tools. The salary range is $70,000 - $90,000 per year. Actual salaries will vary based on factors such as education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as alignment with market data. The base salary is just one component of Ainsworth’s total compensation package, which also includes additional rewards and benefits such as short-term incentives and health insurance, among others.
