Location: Thunder Bay, ON, Canada (Onsite) Starting Salary: $18.15/ hour for full-time Branch: Airports North America Category: Unionized (IAMAW) Job Type: Full Time Shift premiums: Afternoon - $0.50 for each hour worked between 18:00 and 23:00. Midnight - $1.00 for each hour worked between 23:00 and 6:00 No Previous Experience Required. What will you do today? Imagine starting your day on the runway refueling a plane, refilling the water supply, loading cargo or pushing back an Airbus. Imagine the rush of loading luggage for a connecting flight on a tight turnaround. Qualifications Job requirements At our workplace, teamwork is essential for maintaining the smooth operation of our fleet. This physically demanding role involves active movement both on the airside and in the baggage room. Since our operations run year-round, you must be ready to work in all weather conditions. To Join Us, You Must Have A valid driver’s license – driving heavy equipment on the airside will be required Ability to lift 70lbs repetitively To pass a medical evaluation, including a drug and alcohol test Availability to attend and successfully pass a five (5) to seven (7) weeks full-time paid training program Availability to work rotating shift patterns over a 24-hour period (including weekends and holidays) Safety and security conscious Strong communication and ability to work in a team on a daily basis Demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment. Ability to obtain and maintain any applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations.
