As an Account Executive - Leisure & Specialty Channels, you'll play a key role in driving commercial success by strengthening customer relationships, growing market share, and representing one of the world's most recognised and innovative airlines. As part of our Sales team, you'll manage a diverse portfolio of national and multinational accounts across the Canada East territory, working closely with travel management companies, leisure partners, and corporate customers. The preferred location for this role is Toronto, Ontario, however, candidates based in other Canadian cities will also be considered. About the role Develop and grow a portfolio of leisure, corporate, and travel management company accounts across the Canada East territory. Build trusted relationships with key decision-makers to increase customer engagement and strengthen long-term partnerships. Identify and secure new business opportunities that drive incremental revenue and expand Air New Zealand's market share. Analyse commercial performance using internal and external data sources to develop sales strategies and identify growth opportunities. Represent Air New Zealand at customer meetings, trade events, and industry functions, bringing our brand story to life. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver commercial initiatives that achieve measurable business outcomes. Maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities while ensuring exceptional account management and customer experience. Our ideal candidate: Ideally 3 to 5 years' experience in sales planning, sales strategy, commercial analysis, or account management. Experience managing Leisure, Corporate, and Travel Management Company accounts is highly desirable. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret data from sources such as ARC/BSP, DDS, MIDT, Microsoft CRM, and other B2B and B2C data providers. Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and influencing skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders. Strong presentation and communication skills, with the confidence to tell the Air New Zealand story in a compelling way. Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience. An established network within the Canadian travel industry is an advantage. To be considered for this opportunity, you must have existing authorisation to work in Canada.
