Tri-Town Dental in Cold Lake is actively hiring a full-time Registered Dental Assistant to join our growing, owner-operated dental clinic. We are looking for someone who wants to be valued, supported, and part of a strong clinical team — not just “fill a chair.” This is a great opportunity for an RDA who wants a busy schedule, strong earning potential, modern dentistry exposure, no weekends, and a clinic that is actively improving its systems, flow, and team culture. CLINICAL EXPOSURE Depending on experience, training, and authorization, there is opportunity to be involved with: Restorative dentistry Exams and emergencies Surgery Implants and grafting Endodontics Clear aligners CBCT imaging Intraoral scanning Laser dentistry Digital workflows Pediatric and family dentistry Experience in every area is not required. The right attitude, reliability, professionalism, communication, and willingness to learn matter most. WHAT YOU WILL DO Chairside assisting for general dentistry and advanced procedures Prepare rooms, instruments, materials, and clinical workflows Support patient communication and post-op instructions Take radiographs and support imaging workflows within authorization and dentist prescription Maintain accurate clinical documentation and handoffs Work closely with the dentist, hygienists, front desk, sterilization support, and Practice Manager Help create a calm, efficient, professional patient experience WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR Registered with, or eligible to register with, the College of Alberta Dental Assistants Able to hold a valid Alberta practice permit before performing regulated RDA duties Current CPR/BLS, or ability to obtain immediately Reliable, professional, patient-first, and team-oriented Comfortable in a busy clinic with systems, standards, and accountability Strong communication skills and a positive attitude Surgery, endo, CBCT, scanning, ortho/aligner, implant, sedation, or pediatric experience is an asset WHY COLD LAKE Cold Lake offers short commutes, lake life, trails, beaches, boating, fishing, outdoor recreation, and a strong community where great dental team members are genuinely valued.
