Description: As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team, utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, and demonstrated skill level, in alignment with applicable legislation, standards of practice, policies, and procedures. Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). Additional Required Qualifications: Current registration with CLPNA. Ability to work to full scope of practice. The LPN provides safe, high-quality, patient and family-centered care within an interprofessional healthcare team. Responsibilities include utilizing nursing processes and critical thinking to manage adult patients with complex acute and chronic medical conditions.

Requires completion of an accredited practical nurse program and active registration with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta. Candidates must hold a current BCLS-HCP certification and be able to work to their full scope of practice.
