Job Description: Reporting to the Dean, School of Creative and Interdisciplinary Studies (SCIS), the Manager of Creative Technology Services provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for all technical resources supporting academic programs focused on creative disciplines. This role ensures that students, faculty, and staff across program areas such as animation, game development, graphic design, television, film, user experience (UX) design, and interior design have access to reliable, cutting-edge tools, and infrastructure. The manager is responsible for technology planning, acquisition, deployment, maintenance and lifecycle management, while also monitoring emerging industry trends to keep the department aligned with evolving professional standards. The Manager ensures that faculty and students across multiple programs benefit from integrated, innovative and industry-relevant creative technology environments that reflect current and future industry practices across multiple sectors. Key Duties: Develop and implement a forward-looking technology roadmap aligned with academic priorities and industry standards; Supervise a team of technologists, technicians and student workers; Leads the procurement, development and management of technical resources; Oversee the deployment, configuration and maintenance of creative technology spaces including computer labs, production studios, edit suites, specialized environments; Advance interdisciplinary projects and industry engagement in capstone projects and research; Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Four (4) Year diploma/degree in a Creative Industries related program. Evidence of continued skill development in multiple creative disciplines. Equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience may be accepted in place of formal education. Minimum seven (7) years experience in: Strong analytical and coordination skills. Experience managing technology in a creative, academic or production environment Demonstrated experience supervising technical staff, or production teams Strong knowledge of industry standard tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Cloud, game engines, 3D modelling software, video production systems) Knowledge of creative technologies such as XR/VR, AI driven creative tools, motion capture, virtual production Evidence of continued skill development throughout career Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex projects Experience negotiating contracts with vendors Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to interpret/apply business policies procedures and systems. *This vacancy is for P23393 *This position is paid at Manager Payband 10 This position is eligible for hybrid work in conjunction with the College's Flexible Work Arrangement Policy.
