Biology Masters – AI Data Trainer About The Role We're looking for biology experts to help train and improve some of the world's most advanced AI models. If you have a Masters in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field — your knowledge is exactly what's needed to make AI smarter, more accurate, and more scientifically rigorous. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role working alongside leading AI research labs. You'll apply your scientific expertise to real problems that directly shape how AI reasons through complex biology topics. Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Design challenging, graduate-level biology questions to benchmark AI performance Develop clear, rigorous, step-by-step solutions that test AI reasoning Evaluate AI-generated outputs for scientific accuracy and logical quality Collaborate with researchers to refine evaluation frameworks across a range of biology topics — from undergraduate fundamentals to advanced Masters-level concepts Provide structured, expert feedback that directly improves AI model outputs Who You Are Currently pursuing or have completed a Masters degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a closely related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across advanced biology domains Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and precisely in writing Detail-oriented with a rigorous approach to logic and accuracy Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and asynchronously No prior AI experience required — we'll set you up for success Nice to Have Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or research benchmarking Familiarity with large language models or AI systems Background in molecular biology, genetics, physiology, or biochemistry Why Join Us Work on cutting-edge AI projects with top research labs shaping the future of science and technology Fully remote and flexible — work on your own schedule, from anywhere Freelance perks: high autonomy, variety, and global collaboration Make a real impact — your expertise helps AI reason more accurately across biology and life sciences Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
