Incident Response Analyst (AI Training) About The Role We're partnering with leading AI research labs to build the next generation of AI-powered cybersecurity tools. As an Incident Response Analyst, you'll bring your real-world SOC experience to evaluate, test, and improve AI systems designed to detect threats, correlate alerts, and support digital investigations. Your expertise doesn't just inform the work — it directly shapes how AI responds to security incidents at scale. Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Analyze realistic security events, alerts, and incident cases to evaluate AI-generated responses Assess impact, root cause, and appropriate remediation paths for simulated and real-world scenarios Review detection rules, alerting pipelines, and investigative playbooks for accuracy and effectiveness Verify that AI-generated incident analysis reflects how real security operations teams work Provide structured, expert feedback that helps AI think and respond like a seasoned analyst Who You Are 2+ years of hands-on experience in SOC operations, incident response, or security engineering Proficient with SIEM platforms, alert queues, and investigation tooling Skilled at triaging signals — distinguishing genuine threats from background noise Strong written communicator who can clearly explain technical findings Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments Nice to Have Experience with threat hunting, digital forensics, or malware analysis Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, or similar Background working across cloud, endpoint, or network security environments Why Join Us Work on frontier AI systems alongside top-tier research teams Fully remote and asynchronous — work on your own schedule Freelance perks: autonomy, flexibility, and global collaboration Put your security expertise to work on problems that matter Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
