Network & Infrastructure Security Analyst (AI Training) About The Role We're partnering with the world's leading AI research teams to build the next generation of intelligent security systems — and we need practitioners who've seen real threats up close. If you've spent time in the trenches of network security, endpoint defense, or infrastructure protection, this is your opportunity to put that expertise to work at the frontier of AI. You'll analyze real-world security scenarios, classify incidents, and help shape how AI models understand and reason about cybersecurity. Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Analyze network, endpoint, and email security scenarios across modern enterprise environments Review firewall, EDR, and infrastructure security cases to determine what went wrong and why Classify incidents, misconfigurations, and control failures based on real operational data Create, label, and validate security datasets used to train and evaluate AI models Clearly articulate root causes, attacker techniques, and business impact in structured formats Work independently and asynchronously on task-based assignments Who You Are 2+ years of hands-on experience in network, infrastructure, or endpoint security Solid working knowledge of firewalls, EDR platforms, email security, IAM, and SIEMs Strong understanding of how real enterprises deploy and operate security controls Able to explain complex security issues clearly — to both technical and non-technical audiences Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working without close supervision Nice to Have Experience with threat hunting, incident response, or red/blue team operations Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, or CIS Controls Background in security engineering, SOC analysis, or infrastructure architecture Prior experience contributing to AI, data labeling, or security research projects Why Join Us Work directly on frontier AI systems with leading research labs Fully remote and flexible — work on your own schedule Freelance autonomy with meaningful, intellectually engaging work Apply real-world security expertise to a cutting-edge AI domain Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
