Vulnerability Management Analyst (AI Training) About The Role We're partnering with the world's leading AI research teams to build smarter, more capable AI systems — and we need practitioners who know security from the inside out. If you've spent time in vulnerability management, security operations, or infrastructure security, your real-world expertise is exactly what's needed to help AI understand how security teams actually think, prioritize, and act. This is a unique opportunity to shape how the next generation of AI reasons about cybersecurity. Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Analyze vulnerability reports, CVEs, and exposure scenarios across infrastructure and applications Classify severity, impact, exploitability, and remediation strategies based on real-world context Review and evaluate patching, mitigation, and remediation decision-making scenarios Generate, label, and validate realistic security-reasoning data used to train and improve AI systems Apply your practitioner judgment to distinguish theoretical risk from what actually matters in production Who You Are 2+ years of experience in vulnerability management, security operations, or infrastructure security Familiar with CVEs, vulnerability scanners, patching workflows, and risk prioritization frameworks Comfortable reasoning about the tradeoffs between risk severity and operational impact A structured, analytical thinker who can communicate clearly in writing Self-motivated and able to work independently on task-based assignments Nice to Have Experience with exposure management platforms or CVSS scoring Familiarity with frameworks like NIST, CIS Controls, or MITRE ATT&CK Background in red teaming, threat intelligence, or cloud security Prior experience contributing to AI or data annotation projects Why Join Us Work directly on frontier AI systems alongside top research labs Fully remote and flexible — work on your own schedule Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and global collaboration Contribute to meaningful work at the intersection of cybersecurity and AI Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
